Yesterday we saw how the court documents submitted by Samsung in the court in regards to the ongoing Apple vs. Samsung patent war revealed Samsung’s upcoming Windows Phone 8 smartphone codenamed “Odyssey” and “Macro”.
And now it has come to light that Samsung is working on a tablet which is codenamed ‘P10’ which is said to be arriving with an 11.8 inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 (WQXGA).
Now this brings the pixel density to 256 ppi which will enable Samsung to compete with the likes of the “Retina-display” of Apple. We know that Samsung is the largest supplier of LCDs and AMOLEDs and this might also be pushed ahead with bringing the Retina-like display to its Galaxy Tab range.
The P10 is also said to be arriving with Wi-Fi and also LTE connectivity to help users enjoy browsing on the 11.8 inch tablet.
The document suggests that the P10 is scheduled to arrive in 2012 and also there is an event scheduled by Samsung for the probable announcement of the Galaxy Note II on August 15 and along with it, can we expect the release of the P10 as the 11.8 inch Galaxy Tab at the same event? We really hope for it.
