It is heavily rumoured that Google is supposed to release the Android v4.4.3 update at the upcoming Google I/O 2014 conference. While there has been no official confirmation from the company, Samsung seems to have started testing the update.
According to sources, Samsung has already started testing the yet to be released Android v4.4.3 update for its flagship Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4 LTE-A variant. The company seems to be trying hard to release the updates on time. Should the latest KitKat update be released in June, we can expect the update for flagship Samsung device by early-September.
Meanwhile, the report also claims that many of the recently launched high-end Samsung devices would be getting the Android KitKat update early next month. Devices including the Galaxy Grand 2, the Galaxy note 3 Neo and the Mega 5.8 and the Mega 6.3 are expected to receive the updates. Unfortunately, as rumoured earlier, the Galaxy S3 may not be getting the KitKat update anytime soon.
