We posted a couple of days ago that Apple is suing Samsung over patent infringements relating to similar designing of products. According to Reuters, Samsung has responded by filing a lawsuit against Apple.
Samsung has filed the lawsuit in South Korea, Japan and Germany, which involves 10 alleged infringements of patents involving power reduction during data transmission, 3G technology for reducing errors during data transmission, and wireless data communication technology. “Samsung is responding actively to the legal action taken against us in order to protect our intellectual property and to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communications business,” these were the words included in the statement.
With the battle of infringement heating up, Apple should settle in agreement as they depend on Samsung for components such as chips and LCD displays. They can end up in a huge loss if the end on bad terms.
