There has been a lot of confusion lately regarding Samsung’s new Tizen smartphones. Firstly there were reports saying that the first Samsung smartphone running Tizen will be released in March and then there were reports suggesting that the Samsung Tizen smartphone has again been delayed and now we have official confirmation from Samsung that their latest Tizen smartphones will surely be present at MWC next month.
Samsung has started sending out invites for an event just a day before MWC kicks off to showcase their latest and ‘newest Tizen devices’. The event is focused primarily on Tizen and along with the new devices, Samsung will be talking of all the major landmarks Tizen has hit since its development. Along with Samsung, other Tizen partners like SK Telecom, KT Corporation and LG U+ will also be present.
Please join the Tizen Association Board on Sunday, 23 February 2014 for a welcome reception and kick-off to MWC 2014. Only during this event invite, you will get an exclusive sneak preview of the newest Tizen devices, as well as an opportunity to learn about the major milestones that the Tizen Project has hit since last year’s event.
We ask you to reserve time from 3-6 PM CET on 23 February 2014 at Hotel Arts Barcelona, where you will also have the opportunity to hear from, and interview the Tizen Association Board members.
We are not quite sure if Samsung just plans to demo the latest Tizen developments or bring their first Tizen smartphone to the market but with less than a month to go we are not too far away from knowing more details about it.
