So just this morning we posted about Samsung working on an upgrade of the Galaxy S called the Galaxy S Advance, well, now it is official.

An upgrade from the original Galaxy S, the S Advance has a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with curved glass design, Android 2.3 OS, 14.4Mbps HSPA, 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 720p video playback and recording, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 8 or 16B of internal memory, 768MB of RAM, FM Radio, microSD card slot and a 1500mAh battery.
The handset is said to be released first in Russia in February followed by CIS, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.
