So yesterday we learnt that Samsung will not showcase the Galaxy S III at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. And now we get to know that Samsung maybe following into Apple’s foot-steps and may unveil a mid-way successor to the S II namely the Galaxy S II Plus, just as it happened in the case of iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S.
This has come to notice via benchmark results at An3DBenchXL othe same device in question. According to the benchmark results the Galaxy S II Plus is running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread on-board, has a WVGA display and a CPU clocking at 1.5GHz. So this is indeed an upgrade from the current CPU of the S II which clocks at 1.2 GHz.
But this is not the first time that Samsung may introduce a refreshed version of its precious devices. Just recently Samsung had announced the Galaxy Ace Plus and Galaxy S Advance. It will indeed be interesting to see how much + factor does this S II bring in. Stay tuned.
