Even as Samsung had revealed its plans to launch the refurbished version of the Galaxy Note7, we were worried that Samsung may keep a premium pricing for the former flagship. However, turns out Samsung plans to sell the handset for half the original cost price.
According to reports out of Korea, Samsung may price the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7R at a mere KRW 500000 (approx. $440, Rs. 28000). This comes in stark contrast to the earlier reports which suggested a price tag of $620 (approx. Rs. 40000). However, Samsung claims to have not yet decided about the release aspects of the handset.
Rumours so far indicate that the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7R would have the exact same specs as the flagship, except for a safe and toned down 3200 mAh battery. While there is still no confirmation, sources indicate that the handset may be launched in June.
