While Samsung is notorious for delayed updates for its smartphones, the company plans on working on early updates for its Galaxy S7 users.
According to sources, Samsung is planning on launching a beta program for its Galaxy S7 edge users, where it will allow users to install the latest Android Nougat update for beta testing. Once enrolled, users can try out the latest software update and report for any bugs in the software. However, Samsung is yet to reveal more details about the testing program.
Currently, the beta program is open to users in the US and UK. While just the Galaxy S7 edge is mentioned, we are assuming that Samsung would offer the program to the Galaxy S7 users as well. Further, the company may release the program to its other high-end smartphone offerings. We are waiting for an official announcement from Samsung.
