Samsung is generally notorious of releasing multiple variants of its flagship smartphones. While this time it may be limiting itself, it seems to be gearing up with the Galaxy S7 Active.
Samsung may have unknowingly hinted at the existence of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active variant. The yet to be announced handset was listed in the change log of the latest edition of the Samsung Level app. The device has also been spotted at other places and is said to bear model number SM-G891A. Unfortunately, there are no other details available at the moment.
Based on the previous Galaxy Active variants of Samsung, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active to flaunt military-grade protection (MIL-STD-810G) which boasts of protection from altitude pressures, humidity, salt, vibration shock. Also expected is the usual dust and waterproof features. We may also see a larger battery in the handset.
