The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were announced in February this year during the MWC 2016. Now Samsung has launched Pink Gold colored variant of the S7 and S7 Edge.
Samsung has launched the Pink Gold colored variant of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in its home country South Korea. Soon after Apple launched its iPhone with Rose Gold color, other OEMs were quick to catch up with it. There are many OEMs who are now offering their smartphones in Rose Gold color but with a different name.
“Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colors available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural color that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces.” said Samsung in a blog post.
Samsung says that this Pink Gold color scheme is inspired from skin tone. Now I haven’t seen anyone with a Pink Gold color skin. Have you? Also, there’s no difference in specifications between this Pink Gold colored variant and the older ones.
Talking about availability, the Pink Gold colored S7 and S7 Edge are available in South Korea as of now and will soon be available in select markets. Apart from Pink Gold, Samsung is already selling the S7 and S7 Edge in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium colors (availability depends on market).
