Just a month after Samsung unveiled their selfie-centric Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 smartphones, the company has now launched the handsets in India.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7, which are the company’s latest selfie-centric smartphones. The devices flaunt a massive 13 MP rear facing camera with f/1.8’ aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash. Both are equipped with 4G connectivity with support for 1800 MHz (Band 3) LTE band.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 has a 5 inch display, whereas the Galaxy J7 has a 5.5 inch display, both with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Galaxy J5 is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor whereas the Galaxy J7 is powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 is priced at Rs. 11999 and is available in Black, White and Gold colour options. Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy J7 is priced at Rs. 14999 and is available in Black, White and Gold colour options. Both the smartphones come bundled with Rs. 3200 worth in-app purchase credit from Gameloft, Double data for Airtel customers on 4G for 6 months and unlimited music downloads on Airtel’s Wynk music worth Rs. 594 for 6 months. The handsets would be available exclusively on Flipkart.
