Samsung has launched world’s first smart projector phone ‘Samsung Galaxy Beam’ (GT-I8520). The Samsung Galaxy Beam, first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in February this year will go on sale from 17th July in Singapore. Powered by Android 2.1, the Galaxy Beam is packed with with a built-in Texas Instruments Pico projector, 8-megapixel camera and multi video codec support. With a projection screen size of 5 to 50-inches, the Galaxy Beam toggles between a personal home theater system to a portable business projector. The Samsung Galaxy Beam will be available at all StarHub Shops and selected Exclusive Partners’ outlets from as low as $ 0 to $ 398 depending upon the plan selection.
