Remember the Samsung GT-i9260, specs of which went on to leak back in August and was speculated to arrive as the next Nexus smartphone from Samsung?
Well it seems that the smartphone is not the next Nexus smartphone and will instead arrive as the Samsung Galaxy Premier if the guys at MobileGeeks are to be believed who have also obtained the leaked image of smartphone.
Thanks to the GT-i9260 model number of the Galaxy Premier, it was being speculated that this could be the next Nexus from Samsung but now that Google and joined hands with LG, Samsung might have dropped the plans and instead decided to launch the smartphone as Galaxy Premier and not as the Galaxy Nexus 2.
Going by the specs, the Galaxy Premier is expected to arrive with:
- 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display
- Display resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels
- 1.5 GHz Dual core Cortex A9 processor
- 8 MP rear facing camera
- 2 MP front facing shooter
- 8/16 GB internal storage
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
- Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0
We had also seen the test images from the purported 8 MP camera pop up on Picasa in the past. Now that the Galaxy S III Mini is official, our focus has been shifted to the GT-i9260 Galaxy Premier.
Let us see what new leaks and rumours we are served with the coming days.
