Remember the Galaxy W smartphone with 7 inch display that Samsung had launched in South Korea? Well, the company has now launched the same device in China, this time calling it a tab – the Samsung Galaxy TabQ.
Samsung has released the Samsung Galaxy TabQ in China, which is apparently the local variant of the Galaxy W except without the LTE-A support. The device has surprisingly thin bezels, thus actually making it look more like a phone than a tablet. The tablet has a 7 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.
The Samsung Galaxy TabQ is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The device is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean version with a 3200 mAh battery. We can expect tablet to be released in more Asian regions including India.
