Earlier this month, Samsung sent out press invites to the media for its MWC 2017 event held in Barcelona, Spain on February 26. That invite didn’t clearly mention as to which Samsung device would be unveiled at the event, but, it did show a Samsung device with a physical home button which was assumed to be the Galaxy Tab S3. Well, thanks to a leaked image, today we are having a look at Samsung’s 2017 tablet device.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has the standard physical home button which is flanked by the recent and back keys. You can also see the front camera which is located to the right side of the Samsung moniker. You can also see the S Pen in the image above, however, you won’t be able to insert it inside the Galaxy Tab S3 like you could in the Galaxy Note series smartphones as there’s no stylus cradle in the tablet. Besides this, also visible is the power button and volume rocker which is situated at the right side of the Galaxy Tab S3.
The Galaxy Tab S3 was spotted on GFXBench late last month with its specifications. Going by the GFXBench listing, the Galaxy Tab S3 might come with Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood which is laced with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The device is said to boast off a 9.6-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. It would run Android 7.0 Nougat and has 32 GB of storage on board. Speaking of photography, the Galaxy Ta S3 will have a 12 MP snapper at the back along with a 5 MP snapper on the front.
Also, the Galaxy Tab S3 is said to come in only one size i.e., 9.6-inch, but, it will have two models – a Wi-Fi only variant, and, a Wi-Fi + LTE variant. The latter is said to be priced at around $600 in the US.
