Just as expected, Samsung has officially launched the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S range in India by launching the two new tablets that were announced hardly a month back.
Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab S range of tablets in India which are not only the company’s first high-resolution Super AMOLED tablets, but are also touted to be the company’s thinnest and lightest tablets till date. The tablets are available with display sizes of 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch, both having super high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with 16:10 ratio and 100000:1 contrast ratio.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets are both powered by the octa core Exynos processor clocked at 1.9 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Both the tablets have an 8 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a front facing 2.1 MP full HD camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets run on the latest Android KitKat version. The Tab S 8.4 has a 4900 mAh battery whereas the Tab S 10.5 has a bigger 7900 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is priced at Rs. 37800 whereas the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is priced at Rs. 44800. The tablets are expected to go on sale across the country from the second week of July. Reliance is offering 9 GB of 3G/2G data with every purchase. Also customers pre-booking the tablets will receive a free book cover accessory.
