While the recently announced Samsung Galaxy TabPro series features some really good tablets with striking hardware, the so called affordable Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite may not even be comparable considering the benchmark listings.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite with model number SM-T111 has been spotted at the GFXBench. As expected the tablet features a 7 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. However what shocked us is that the device is powered by just a 1.2 GHz processor, which hopefully is dual core. There is also a GC1000 GPU, same as the one seen on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0.
The benchmarks also confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite would run on the Android v4.2.2. However the benchmark results clearly reveal that the performance of the tablet is comparatively low. But given the expected pricing of $129, the device could still be successful. While there is no word on the official release, we can hope for an announcement soon enough.
Expected specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite:
- 7 inch display
- 1024 x 600 pixels resolution
- 1.2 GHz processor

- 1 GB RAM
- 4 GB internal memory
- 5 MP primary camera
- 0.3 MP front facing camera
- Google Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- 3000 mAh battery
