The most awaited flagships of the year – the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ – will be unveiled two days later at a pre-MWC event in Barcelona, Spain. We already know what these phones will look like, and, also have a pretty fair idea of what they will come packed with. It’s more of a formality now for Samsung to make these flagships official. However, just two days ahead of the unveiling, one last but one of the most important bit of information has surfaced online – the pricing of these handsets.
This pricing information has been leaked by reliable leakster Evan Blass. According to Blass, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be priced €841 in Europe whereas the larger Galaxy S9+ will cost €997. Well, this translates to a price of around $1035 and $1230 of S9 and S9+ respectively in the US.
However, it’s worth noting that these prices haven’t been confirmed by Samsung yet. That will happen two days later. Moreover, the $1000+ price tag in the US is based on the current exchange rates, hence, it doesn’t necessarily mean that both these flagships will be sold at these prices in the US.
That said, don’t expect the Galaxy S9 and S9+ to be cheap either, they are very well going to be the most expensive Galaxy S smartphones to date.
Well, like we already said, most of the details of these flagship smartphones have already been leaked, however, we are expecting Samsung to still have some features up its sleeve to show off at the unveiling. Samsung will unveil these flagships and details about its pricing and availability on Sunday, and once it does, we will make sure you are informed about it.
