We are less than two weeks away from the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S8, but, the rumors mills still won’t stop. Thanks to all the leaks and rumors and reports that have made rounds on the Internet until now, we have a fair idea of what to expect from this upcoming Samsung flagship. However, a latest report has got us excited for the Galaxy S8 as it states that the device will be capable of shooting videos at a whooping 1000 fps (frames per second).
According to a report coming in from Samsung’s home country South Korea, the Galaxy S8 will come with a 12 MP Dual Pixel camera which will be capable of shooting videos at 1000 frames/second. Well, this is really cool if you love recording slow-motion videos. With that much amount of fps, you will have more control over the playback of the slow-motion video.
The report states that Samsung is able to achieve this by adding DRAM into the rear camera sensor. Apart from this, the report also mentioned that the Galaxy S8 will feature an 8 MP camera on the front along with a 3.7 MP camera sensor dedicated for Iris Scanning, a feature that was first on Galaxy Note7. Past reports have also suggested that the Galaxy S8 will come with Face Recognition feature which will unlock the phone in less than 0.01 seconds. Well, we will only know if all that’s true after Samsung unveils the Galaxy S8 on March 29.
