While Apple begun the trend to skip the 3.5 mm audio jack, Samsung seems to be picking up the trend too and may implement in the upcoming flagship Galaxy S8.
According to sources, Samsung may ditch the 3.5 mm audio jack for the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S8. The company is expected to promote the Level Bluetooth headset. Interestingly, the handset is also expected to have a USB Type-C port. Hence there is a possibility that the company may launched USB Type-C Level series headphones for the smartphone.
More importantly, Samsung is also said to be planning to remove the Home button on the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S8. The company is apparently working on optical fingerprint recognition technology so that the fingerprint sensor could be embedded inside the display itself. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled in February 2017.
