After several leaks and rumours, Samsung has now officially announced the launch of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone with 3D glass with Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Barometer and metal design. The device has a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED Always ON pressure sensitive display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the quad core Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Samsung seems to have given the camera quite a thought with the Dual Pixel camera where it has used a smaller 12 MP camera sensor but with a larger 1.4 micron pixels capable of collecting 95 percent more photons hence improving picture quality in low-light scenarios. The Dual Pixel technology promises faster and more accurate autofocus and a better camera experience.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 also has a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with the new Edge UX. The phone flaunts a massive 3000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. The handset is available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium colour options.
