After several rumours from outside, a Samsung employee has now apparently leaked details about the company’s upcoming flagship smartphones.
An alleged Samsung employee has revealed details about the upcoming flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. He claims that the highlight of the flagships would be the camera, which is said to use a smaller 12 MP sensor compared to last year’s 16 MP. However, the camera is said to have f/1.7 aperture, which would enable the sensor to capture more light, even in low-light conditions. Also expected is a dual-pixel autofocus system.
The employee also confirmed that the Galaxy S7 would sport a 5.1 inch display whereas the Galaxy S7 edge would flaunt a 5.5 inch display with curved display on both the edges. However, we should be expecting a design pretty similar to the existing flagships. We are expecting Samsung to officially announce the handsets on February 21, just ahead of the MWC 2016.
