According to Evan Blass, a popular leakster, both the flagships of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930A) and the S7 Edge (SM-G935A) are already under going testing at AT&T. This means both these smartphones could be released soon after their announcement.He also tweeted that this adds up to the rumors suggesting a release next year ahead of MWC 2016. Going by the rumors, these devices might be announced on February 21 next year, days before the MWC 2016 begins.
As of now, there’s no information regarding the design and specifications, but one can expect these devices to be more slimmer than their predecessors. The Samsung Galaxy S7 might boast off a 5.2-inch display, whereas, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge might sport a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch curved display. Regarding the processing power, some S7 variants might be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 processor, whereas the other variants might feature the recently announced Snapdragon 820. Other features might include 20MP camera, USB Type-C port and a feature similar to Apple’s 3D Touch.
