Just a few weeks after Samsung unveiled their flagship smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the company has now launched the Samsung Galaxy S6 in India.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6, which is the company’s latest flagship smartphone. The device has a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the company’s own 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 chipset along with the latest 3 GB LPDDR4 RAM. The handset is available in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB versions.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 16 MP ISOCELL camera with OIS, phase detection autofocus, 4K recording and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a refined TouchWiz. The handset is priced at Rs. 49900 for the 32 GB version, Rs. 55900 for the 64 GB version and Rs. 61900 for the 128 GB version. The device will be available in the market from April 10.
