Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, the curved screen flagship from the South Korean giant recently went on sale in India and other countries across the globe and it’s getting its very first update now. The new update is live for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and along with the usual bug fixes, there are some features backed in as well.
The new update is available for the S6 Edge over the air and it weighs in at 252.98 MB. While the Android version remains the same at 5.0.2, the baseband version changes from G925IDVU1AOC1 to G925IDVU1AOD2. There’s also a minor change in the kernel version too.

Along with that, the update is also said to improve the responsiveness S6 Edge’s display. The update also brings many stability performance improvements and bug fixes. Since, the Galaxy S6 Edge has received the update, it’s alter ego, the Galaxy S6 might be getting the update as well.
