Just days after the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active was leaked, the company has now officially announced the handset.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, which is the company’s rugged variant of the Galaxy S6. The device has a 5.1 inch IPS display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa core Exynos 7420 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a 16 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a massive 3500 mAh battery. The phone is water resistant up to 1.5 metres due to the IP68 certified casing. Additionally, the handset is shock resistant, dust proof.
