While the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A made quite a lot of noise for being the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 805 processor, the company seems to be getting ready to launch it globally.
According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A, which was recently announced exclusively in South Korea, is soon heading for a global launch starting with Europe. While the handset would be the exact same, the European variant having model number SM-G901 would sport just full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels instead of the original 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Other than that, the global variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A would have the same specs including the superfast quad core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz along with the 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The handset has support for LTE Advanced that offers download speeds of up to 225 Mbps.
Considering the IFA 2014 is scheduled to happen in Berlin in September, we can expect to see the device at the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A at the expo. Not just that, there are also reports suggesting the handset may be launched in India around the same time.
