Samsung was the first to join the Google Play Edition bandwagon last year with the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition and it might be planning to keep things going. Samsung Galaxy S5 was unveiled at MWC in February and we have been thinking if we’ll get a Google Play Edition of the device. Well, we have the confirmation, thanks to Google.
The Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition was seen briefly on the Google Play Store. Under the Galaxy S4 listing, what we saw was a picture of the Galaxy S5. The image was clearly photoshopped, as it was featuring both the on-screen navigation buttons along with the usual Samsung keys on the bottom. Whatever the reason maybe for the photoshop, an image of the Galaxy S5 on the Google Play Store is enough confirmation that the Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition is coming.
