While Samsung is known to launch numerous variants of a single device with varying processor etc., this time the company added a whole new feature to one of its older flagship device and made it the Samsung Galaxy S II TV.
While the Samsung Galaxy S II TV shares the name with company flagship launched in 2011, this device is completely redesigned with different specs. The device has a 4 inch display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The device is powered by a 1 GHz dual core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy S II TV has a decent 5 MP rear camera and a front facing VGA camera besides a 1500 mAh battery. While most of the specs have been downgraded, the device runs on Android v4.2.2. The smartphone has an ISDB-T receiver, which will allow users to get television reception along with an antenna at the bottom that can be pulled to improve reception.
