It was back in August 2012 when had first heard rumours about a Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and Galaxy S III Mini.
While Samsung went on to officially announce the launch of the Galaxy S III Mini back in October, there was no news on the Galaxy S II Plus.
But now a new report is doing the round suggests that Samsung will go on to announce the Galaxy S II Plus anytime early next year and the new smartphone is said to arrive in only 8 GB storage option.
Samsung is said to be planning to start shipping the Galaxy S II Plus Chic White from week 3 and the Galaxy S II plus Dark Blue version from week 5. It is rumoured to arrive with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
There is currently no information on the technical specifications of the Galaxy S II Plus but as per the leaks earlier this year, the smartphone is to arrive with a 4.5 inch AMOLED Screen, might be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and have an 8 MP camera on the rear.
We expect Samsung to price the Galaxy S II Plus between the Galaxy S III Mini and the Galaxy Premier.
