We have been hearing a lot about Samsung’s upcoming phablet Galaxy Note7 lately. Samsung is said to unveil the Galaxy Note7 on 2nd August, and, thanks to some leaks, we also know what kind of hardware to expect from this next Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Note7 was rumored to feature Iris Scanner, however, leaked front panel of the Galaxy Note7 now confirms that it will indeed be featuring an Iris Scanner.
As you can see from the image above, the front panel of the Galaxy Note7 features three circular cut-outs. Those are for the lenses that are required for precise recognition by the Iris Scanner.
You can also see that the Samsung logo which is present in other Samsung smartphones is missing from this leaked panel. Well, that’s done to accommodate the Iris Scanner as well keep the bezels thin. This leaked panel also confirms the fact that the Galaxy Note7 will have dual-edge display.
A recently leaked video also showed off the new TouchWiz UI of the Galaxy Note7. Also, according to a recent leak, the Galaxy Note7 will be powered by Exynos8993 or Snapdragon 821 SoC. It will have 6 GB RAM will sport a 5.8-inch Quad-HD dual edge display. Photography department might consist of a 12 MP rear camera along with a 5 MP front camera. The Galaxy Note7 will either have 3600 mAh battery or 4000 mAh battery.
