The first batch of real life images of the Galaxy Note7 were leaked online last week. Those images showed off dual-edge display on the Note7. Even the leaked press renders and leaked front panel confirmed dual-edge display. While we haven’t seen any images of a flat-screened variant of Note7 till now, a leaked image of prototype shows us what the flat-screened variant looks like.
The image shown above is the image of flat-screened prototype of Galaxy Note7 that was cancelled. As can be seen, except the flat screen display, the device looks similar to the dual edge display variant. It has the same Fingerprint Scanner and Iris Scanner on the front.
As Samsung seems to have cancelled the flat-screen variant of the Galaxy Note7, people will have to buy the Galaxy Note7 having dual edge display. The Galaxy Note7 was also spotted on Geekbench last week. The listing revealed Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB RAM. It is also expected to sport a 5.7/5.8-inch Quad-HD display.
Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy Note7 on 2nd August. While that’s exactly two weeks from today, we expect more details of the Galaxy Note7 to surface online.
