About an hour ago, we told you about the leaked images of Samsung Galaxy Note7’s Black Onyx variant. Now, we are looking at Galaxy Note7 possibly coming with water resistance feature.
The Galaxy Note7 has been spotted on import listing website Zauba. According to the listing, the Galaxy Note7 carrying model number SM-930F is expected to come with water resistance. However, you shouldn’t be surprised as the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are water resistant as well. Several units have been imported to India from South Korea. It’s possible that Samsung wants to run some real world tests on the Galaxy Note7 before the device is available for purchase in the country.
Apart from this, the Galaxy Note7 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8893 SoC. China and US will get the Snapdragon variant whereas other regions will have to make do with the Exynos variant.
The device is also expected to come with 6 GB RAM, however, we have only seen the device running on 4 GB RAM on all the benchmark listings that we have seen so far. The device is also rumored to come with 5.7/5.8-inch dual edge display having Quad-HD resolution. It’s also possible that the Galaxy Note7 will launch with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow as Google hasn’t yet released Android Nougat.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note7 will be unveiled on 2nd August. We expect more details to surface online till the device is made official.
