Just a few weeks after Samsung launched its flagship Samsung Galaxy Note5, the company has now launched it in India.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note5, which is the company’s flagship phablet offering and the successor to the Note 4. The device picks up the design language from the Galaxy S6 and comes with the S-Pen stylus located on the bottom right corner. The handset comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical home button and can be used to authenticate financial transactions.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa core Exynos 7420 processor with a massive 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. There is however no provision for a microSD card or other expandable memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note5 has a 16 MP rear facing auto focus camera with OIS, f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with a layer of TouchWiz. The handset is priced at Rs. 53900 for the 32 GB variant and Rs. 59900 for the 64 GB variant and would be available starting from September 20.
