Even while we are being blitzed with leaks related to the upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, Samsung seems to be already working on the next generation Galaxy Note 8 and the company seems to be making an extra effort to make up for the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
The schematics of the alleged Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have surfaced giving an insight to the upcoming flagship smartphone. The drawings reveal a big smartphone with surprisingly narrow bezels. The image also reveals the aperture for the selfie camera and a speaker grille at the bottom.
Interestingly, there is no sign of a Home button on the front panel. As such we expect that Samsung would embed the fingerprint scanner under the display or may completely switch to iris scanner. Also visible is the S-Pen silo, USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack. There is also a dedicated Bixby button on the right, just like that in the upcoming Galaxy S8.
The report indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would flaunt a massive 6.4 inch 4K Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset or the Exynos 9XXX series processor. Also expected is 6 GB of RAM and storage options up to 256 GB. We are awaiting more details.
