While Samsung is said to be making good sales of the Galaxy S6, the company seems to be gearing up with the next flagship Note handset.
According to sources, Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 5 at the upcoming IFA in Berlin as usual. However, the company is expected to announce the handset in July itself. This move is said to be focussed solely on outrunning Apple, which would launch the successor to the iPhone 6 somewhere in August.
After the entry of Apple in the phablet market with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung had seen a gradual shift in its customer base. However, an early launch of their flagship Note 5 may be targeted towards enticing their customers again. With Apple and Samsung competing head-on, we can expect to see a good display.
