More than a month after it was first announced at the unpacked event IFA 2014, Samsung has official launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in India.
Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in India. The device, though flaunts the same design language seem in the Note series, has a new smooth metallic finish giving an added premium feel to the exotic device. There is also an aluminium frame running around the sides of the device. The S Pen stylus holder is right at the bottom right corner.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display with ultra-high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which results in a pixel density of 515 ppi. The screen has the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by the super-fast quad core Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a 16 MP rear facing Sony IMX240 camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization and dual-LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 4K Ultra HD videos at 30 fps. There is also a front facing 3.7 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with a layer of the latest TouchWiz UI.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is priced at Rs. 58300 and would be available in frost white, charcoal black, bronze gold and blossom pink colours from October 17. Samsung has also partnered with Vodafone to offer 2GB of free data per month for Vodafone customers who are not active on data packs, whereas existing Vodafone data users would get 1 GB of free data per month for two months.
