As we are nearing the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the distribution of the variants are revealed, though not officially from Samsung.
According to the sources, there would be two major variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – one powered by the octa – core Samsung Exynos 5420 with model number SM-N900 (3G) and the other with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 bearing model number SM-N9005 (LTE). The Snapdragon 800 powered devices would travel to most of the US and European countries and the rest of the world, including India, would be covered by devices running Exynos 5420 CPU.
However, there would also be a dual SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with model number SM-N9002 powered by the Samsung Exynos 5420 processor which would be available only in China. In the meanwhile another model with model number SM-N9006 has popped up and is claimed to be the international LTE-A model. We’ll get more details at the launch event on September 4 in Berlin.
