After Motorola, Samsung is the next company to announce price cuts for its phones in India. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 3 Neo have received price cuts, it seems in anticipation of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 now comes at Rs. 38,455 and the Note 3 Neo now comes for Rs. 27,249. Both are now around 4K cheaper.
This isn’t the first time Samsung has done this. It happened with the Samsung Galaxy Note on the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is actually a part of Samsung’s marketing strategy. It had previously offered a price cut on the Note 3 Neo when it was not doing well.
Going by the market trend, I would actually advise you to wait a little before investing. Samsung will again significantly lower the price tag once the Galaxy Note 4 is launched.
But, would you really invest in these phones or go for a Xiaomi Mi 3 with similar specs? That depends on whether you want value-for-money or the show off quality that comes with owning a Samsung Galaxy Note.
