While we all were awaiting the Galaxy Mega series to reach India to see the devices with massive display from Samsung. Not keeping us hanging for too long, the company officially launched both the devices of the Galaxy Mega series in India today.
The Galaxy Mega series has arrived in India with Samsung launching the Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3. While India is one of the first few countries to receive the devices so early, both the devices have been launched with Dual SIM support.
The Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3, the first Galaxy devices with display size greater than 5 inches are expected to hit retail stores in India by June 10. The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is priced at Rs. 25100 while the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is priced at Rs. 31490.
Samsung has also announced it partnership with local telecom operators like Reliance and Vodafone for the launch of the Galaxy Mega series in India. While RCOM customers who purchase either of the Galaxy Mega handsets would be offered 2GB of data per month free for a period of 3 months as well as unlimited access to BigFlicks, WhatsApp, Twitter and Facebook, Vodafone customers can avail 2GB of data per month free for 2 months.
