We have been hearing rumors around the successor to the Galaxy Mega and today, we have leaked specs of the Galaxy Mega 2, thanks to a benchmark listing. Over at the GFXBenchmark database, a Samsung device with the model number SM-G7508, which has been known as the Galaxy Mega 2 has surfaces with specs in tow.
The benchmark listing reveals that the Galaxy Mega 2 will come with a 5.9-inch HD (1280x720p) display and it will be powered b Qualcomm’s 64-bit chipset, the Snapdragon 410 with Adreno 306 GPU. There’s 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with microSD expansion.
The device will come equipped with high resolution cameras on both rear and the front. A 12 MP camera with flash on the rear and a 5 MP camera on the front. There’s the usual connectivity options along with NFC. Android 4.4.3 KitKat is running the show here and we expect the device to be launched with Android 4.4.4 on-board.
We have no idea when Samsung plans on launching the device and we don’t know the price as well but we’ll let you know as soon as we get to know.
