While the press invites for the launch of the Galaxy S5 Zoom aka Samsung Galaxy K are already out, the camera-centric smartphone was just spotted at the FCC.
A mysterious Samsung smartphone bearing model number SM-C115 was approved by the FCC. Interestingly, the handset is reported to be the Galaxy S5 Zoom, which could be launched on April 29 as the Samsung Galaxy K. The smartphone has NFC and LTE connectivity. Surprisingly, the LTE bands available are the band 2 and band 5, both of which are rarely used in the US and elsewhere.
Based on the Galaxy S4 Zoom, we can presume that the Samsung Galaxy K would feature the same design as the Galaxy S5 but with a protruding camera lens which is said to have a 20.2 MP sensor. Also expected is the Xenon flash and 10x optical zoom feature. With April 29 hardly two weeks away, we can already sense the excitement for the launch of the camera-centric variant of the Galaxy S5.
