India has been a key market for Samsung when it comes to entry-level and mid-range smartphones. Now the company is gearing up to launch the Galaxy J7 Prime in the country.
According to sources, Samsung is all set to launch the mid-range Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime in India. While the exact launch date is not yet known, the handset is expected to be priced at Rs. 19400. This would be the first Galaxy J series device with a metal body. We are still awaiting a formal confirmation from Samsung but expect an announcement in the next few days.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime packs in a 5.5 inch full HD display. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Exynos 7870 processor with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Also expected is a 13 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 8 MP camera. The device runs on a 3300 mAh battery which is said to last for an entire day.
