The Samsung Galaxy J5(2017) is nearing its release and with that, some retailers like Conrad, and Otto over in Germany listed the device online for pre-order. Now, the device has popped up on Amazon France website pointing to June 5 as the launch date.
The Galaxy J5(2017) listed on Amazon had images of the device showing June 5 on the unreleased smartphone’s screen. This points to a June 5 release date although this is no official confirmation so take it with a pinch of salt. And if the listing is right, we will get a gold and black version of the J5(2017). It will cost €279 (roughly Rs. 20,200).
The smartphone has leaked in videos and images before and from what we have seen, Samsung is upping its game in the mid-range smartphone category in terms of build quality. We are expecting a 5.2-inch device with HD display and the Exynos 7870 chipset. It will have 2GB of RAM and 16Gb of storage with support for microSD card expansion. A fingerprint scanner is for the J5(2017) will be a first for any smartphone the J5 series.
The J5(2017) will run Android 7.0 Nougat from the start and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It will feature a metal body with some elements changed in the design.
