Alongside launching the Galaxy J7 Prime today in India, Samsung has also launched the Galaxy J5 Prime. The Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at ₹18,790 whereas the Galaxy J5 Prime comes with a price tag of ₹14,790.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is powered by a quad-core processor which is laced with 2 GB RAM and backed by Mali-T830 GPU. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5-inch HD display.
The Galaxy J5 Prime flaunts a metal unibody design and has a fingerprint scanner which is housed on the home button. The device has 16 GB of internal storage on board whereas the external storage can be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
For photography, you have 13 MP primary camera at the back and a 5 MP secondary camera on the front. This entire package is backed by a 2400 mAh battery which is smaller than the one seen on Galaxy J5 (2016).
The Galaxy J5 Prime also comes with features like S Bike mode, S Secure and S Power Planning. Besides this, those who purchase the Galaxy J5 or J7 Prime will be offered 10 GB of data by Vodafone for three months at a price of 1 GB.
