Just as expected from the teaser video released earlier, Samsung has indeed announced the Samsung Galaxy J in Taiwan.
The Samsung Galaxy J sports a hybrid design between the flagship Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. While most of the specs including the display size are taken from the Galaxy S4, the smooth rounded corners are derived from the Galaxy Note 3. The device has a 5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy J is powered by the powerful quad core Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The device has a 13 MP rear facing auto focus camera capable of 4K video capture. There is also a front facing 1.9 MP camera. A 2600 mAh battery keeps the lights on.
The Samsung Galaxy J has the Android v4.3 installed. The device also has support for 4G LTE connectivity. The smartphone is compatible with the Galaxy Gear smart watch and also has the Samsung KNOX enterprise security app pre-installed. As of now neither the pricing nor the global availability of the smartphone is revealed.
