While the Samsung Galaxy Win, which is one of the affordable Galaxy smartphones targeted towards emerging markets, has been launched in most markets, Samsung India today launched the device in the country, but with a new name – Galaxy Grand Quattro.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro though is being confused as the next edition of the Galaxy Grand, is the actual Galaxy Win which was launched a few weeks back. The device has a 4.7 inch display with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution. The dual SIM handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A5 processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 0.3 MP with 720p video recording. The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean OS and packs in 2000 mAh battery. While the Grand Quattro takes its name from the Galaxy Grand, even with a quad core processor, it cannot match the performance of the dual core Galaxy Grand.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro is priced at Rs. 16900.
