Back in December, Korean giant Samsung announced the launch of the Galaxy Grand smartphone which arrives with a large 5-inch WVGA TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and is a mid-budget smartphone.
At the time of launch, Samsung did not announce the pricing and time of availability if the device and now, online retailer Saholic, has listed the smartphone though the site has not revealed the pricing.
But a bit of looking into the source of the listing page reveals that the smartphone could be available for Rs.19,999 as you can see in the image below, though we cannot confirm anything on this until we hear something from Samsung officially.
At the given price, the smartphone would prove to be a great buy for users who are looking for a mid-budget smartphone with dual-SIM connectivity and decent specs. The best thing about the smartphone is that it arrives with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand I9082 packs in the following specifications:
- 5-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen
- Display resolution 800 x 480 pixels
- 1.2 GHz dual-core processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 GB internal memory
- Expandable to 64 GB via microSD slot
- 8 MP Autofocus camera with LED Flash
- 2 MP front-facing shooter
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS
- 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC

As the smartphone gets listed, it should not be long enough before we see Samsung announcing the device officially in India. What are your thoughts on the Galaxy Grand?
