Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Grand successor Galaxy Grand 2 last month in India and had said that the device will go on sale in January and that it would be priced between Rs. 22,900 and Rs. 24,900 and now the device has gone on sale at Samsung’s official eStore for the price of Rs. 22,999.
The Galaxy Grand 2 is quite a worthy successor to the original Galaxy Grand which has been a huge hit in India. The Galaxy Grand 2 features a Note 3 like design with the same faux leather back plate.
On the specs front, the Galaxy Grand 2 features a 5.25-inch HD (1280×720) display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor along with 1.5 GB of RAM. There’s 8 GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot. On the camera front, there’s a 8 MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 1.9 MP front facing camera. The connectivity is well covered like an other modern smartphone and it comes with Android 4.3 in tow along with the usual Samsung TouchWiz customization. A 2600 mAh battery makes sure the device keeps running.
Right now the device is on sale only from Samsung’s online eStore but you can expect it to reach the retailers across the country from January 20.
