While the Galaxy Grand was a big success in developing markets like India, Samsung has announced the successor – the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with a slight upgrade.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 maintains the same design as the earlier version but has a slightly bigger display measuring 5.25 inch with 720p resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor with a 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further extended up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is equipped with an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 1.9 MP camera. The device, which has dual SIM support, has a bigger 2600 mAh battery, which can apparently last for 17 hours on continuous usage. Interestingly, the smartphone will run on the Android v4.3 and would be available in Black, Pink and White colour variants.
